Relay
A publication about the machines we use every day — the devices, tools, and infrastructure behind them, and the people arguing about how they should work.
What we publish
Relay covers technology at the level where decisions are actually made: the hardware trade-off behind a product, the infrastructure behind a service, and the argument behind a default nobody voted for.
How we write it
Stories should be specific, honest about what is unknown, and useful to someone who has to make a decision. We would rather explain one constraint properly than list ten features.
The week in technology.
One email every couple of weeks with new stories, field notes, and the tools worth your attention. No spam, unsubscribe anytime.
